Do all your patients get the same NUCCA spinal correction? No, they do not. That is the reason why pre x-rays are taken. With the use of the pre-xrays, the misalignment can be calculated. The formula that is calculated tells the doctor exactually how you need to be corrected. Just like no two fingerprints are same, no two formulas are the same. Why are x-rays taken before the first correction? Why are x-rays taken after the first correction? X-rays are taken after the first correction to make sure that the proper correction was given. If we do not take the post x-rays we would not be 100% certain that a proper correction was given. This step leaves no margin for error.
Are x-rays taken on follow-up visits? How does someone get a spinal misalignment? Will I recover faster if I am corrected more often?
